Saturday November 25, 2017 from 11 AM-10 PM
Happy to announce that I took part in my first ever local artwalk!
The Mar Vista Artwalk is a free quarterly event that transpires the first Thursday of each March, June and September and an all day 4th quarter event on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
For the artwalk I was assigned a vendor space in front of Alana’s Coffee Roasters, a micro roaster / cafe that sources seasonal & sustainable coffee beans.

There were bands playing at multiple stages throughout the day, face painting, arts and crafts for kids and more. To fit in with the artwalk’s theme ‘grateful,’ I did a live painting of a giant Grateful Dead logo.
A special thanks to Green Communications Initiative and the Mar Vista Artwalk for putting on such an inspiring event in the Mar Vista community.
Environment plays a huge role in all of my art. My goal as an artist is to raise awareness on issues like Gender Equality, Women Empowerment, Black Lives Matter, and Self Love. Talking to other artists about their techniques motivates me to try new things and stay challenged.
