Celestial Pine

I’m blessed to live in Ventura with my husband, two children, and four grandchildren. I do ornamental gourd art and embellished pine needle basketry. I’m passionate about creating beauty out of ordinary objects. I look forward to autumn when pine needles fall to the ground and gourds are ready for harvest. It all starts with nature as I take her locally grown gifts, weave color in with sinew and watch the magic happen. It takes on a life of its own and before I know it, I have a one-of-a-kind creation. I love when someone gives me a memento to place in the center so my creation becomes a meaningful heirloom for their family.
