Shigeo Atake was a scholar with an IQ of 169 who also loved to paint. He passed away in 1989. His daughter, Marie Atake, is the founder of Forte Animal Rescue in Marina del Rey, California. Two-thirds of the proceeds for each of his paintings will be donated to Forte.
