Mitchelle Manalo is a contemporary artist currently working with mixed media, acrylic, and abstraction. She studied graphite drawing in Los Angeles, oil painting from plein air workshops, pastel painting, and traditional shibori techniques in Japan. Her photography has been displayed at various venues in Ventura including hotels and medical centers. She discovered acrylic pouring during the pandemic and enjoyed the versatility of acrylic paint. The vast array of techniques that can be utilized with fluid art and the incorporation of her previous knowledge in composition and color combinations produced gratifying results.
